Detection is probability, not proof. Knowing the limits of any detector, ours included, is what makes the results useful.

What it can tell you

  • A strong signal on output from the major public generators, across video, image, and voice.
  • A verdict with a confidence score you can weigh alongside where the file came from and who sent it.
  • A fast first read before you share, report, or escalate a suspicious file.
  • An honest Inconclusive verdict when the evidence is genuinely mixed, instead of a forced guess.

What it cannot tell you

  • Certainty. No detector, free or paid, is 100% accurate. Treat the TrustScore as confidence, never as proof.
  • A reliable read on screenshots, screen recordings, or heavily compressed re-uploads. Every re-encode strips away detection signal, so check the most original file you can find.
  • Who made a file or which tool made it. The output is a whole-file verdict and confidence score, not attribution.
  • A legal or editorial determination. High-stakes calls need human review and context, with the detector as one input.
